Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Solo Lattices Company Ltd (Reg. 659731, VAT IE3656380DH), 2 Bramble Court, The Grange, John's Hill, X91 T2D6, Waterford, Ireland (“Solo Lattices”, “we”, “our”) processes personal data when you visit sololattices.com.

We are the data controller. Contact: admin@sololattices.com.

1. What we collect

  • Information you provide via the contact form: name, email address, company name, and the content of your message.
  • Server logs: when you visit, our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) automatically processes technical information including IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages accessed. These logs are kept for a short period for security and operational purposes.
  • Analytics data (only with your consent): anonymous, aggregated metrics on which pages were viewed and how the site performs, via Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. These tools do not use cookies and do not identify individual users.
  • Local storage: a single value (sl-cookie-consent) recording your cookie choice.

2. Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiries (contact form).
  • To operate, secure, and improve the site (server logs, analytics).
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal basis

We process personal data on the following bases under Article 6 GDPR:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics and embedded videos.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for operating and securing the site (server logs).
  • Contract / pre-contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) when you contact us about our products.

4. Who we share data with

  • Vercel Inc. — hosting and infrastructure. Data may be processed in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd) — only when you click play on an embedded video. Until then, no data is sent to YouTube. Once you click play, YouTube applies its own privacy policy.
  • Email recipient (admin@sololattices.com) — when you use the contact form, your message is sent to this address, which is operated by us.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

5. International transfers

When data is transferred outside the EEA (e.g. to Vercel in the United States), we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent safeguards.

6. Retention

  • Server logs: typically up to 30 days.
  • Contact form messages: kept while we deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter (typically up to 24 months).
  • Analytics data: anonymous and aggregated; no individual data is retained.
  • Cookie consent: stored in your browser until you clear it or change your decision.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability
